Moninya Roughan

Professor Moninya Roughan at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) leads oceanography initiatives under Australia's Integrated Marine Observing System (IMOS) since 2008. Affiliated with the School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences, she combines in-situ observations, autonomous platforms, and numerical models to study the East Australian Current (EAC) system, focusing on boundary currents, marine heatwaves, and climate change impacts on coastal ecosystems.
