Monika Maria Möhring

Prof. Dr. Monika Maria Möhring serves as Dean of the Faculty of Management and Communication at the Technical University of Central Hesse (Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen) and Director of the BliZ Center for Blind and Visually Impaired Students. She has been appointed Technical Advisor for Assistive Technologies to the World Health Organization (WHO), where she contributes her expertise in accessibility solutions.

With over 25 years of dedication to inclusive education, Prof. Möhring has established the BliZ center as Hesse's only institution of its kind, directly funded by the Hessian State Parliament. Under her leadership, the 13-member team enables students with disabilities to fully participate in all university degree programs through comprehensive support services including accessible literature preparation, disability-adapted examinations, mentoring programs, and career integration assistance.
