Monika Hagmayer

Monika Hagmayer is a Lecturer at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart, where she has taught for many years supervising Bachelor's students in Music Education pedagogical practice with elementary school-aged children. She concurrently heads the Elementary Music Education Department at the Stuttgart Music School, teaching Elementary Music Pedagogy (EMP) and piano while facilitating pathways for aspiring music teachers.

She completed her piano and elementary music education studies under Prof. Renate Werner and Prof. Marianne Siegwolf at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart.

Her professional focus centers on Elementary Music Education methodologies for young children, with strong emphasis on Music Teacher Training to support career entry and Piano Pedagogy development. She actively bridges institutional practices between the university and music school.

With over a decade leading the Elementary Music Education Department at the Stuttgart Music School, she integrates practical teaching experience with academic supervision to strengthen foundational music education pathways.
