Monika Haga is a Professor at the Department of Teacher Education, Faculty of Social and Educational Sciences, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). She leads the research group Physical Activity, Motor Behavior and Learning (AMBLE) and serves as Deputy Head of Research and Communication for NTNU's strategic research area 'Health and Life Sciences' (2024-2031), focusing on 'Healthy Lifecycles'.

Interventions like I CAN for adolescent resilience and studies on motor skill specificity in children dominate her work.
