Monika Egerer

Monika Egerer is a Professor leading the Professorship for Urban Productive Ecosystems at TUM School of Life Sciences. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on biodiversity, ecosystem services, and climate adaptation in cities, particularly through urban agriculture systems. She investigates how urbanization impacts insect communities, plant diversity, and socio-ecological resilience.
