Monika Berdys

Monika Berdys is a sociologist and PhD Candidate at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences, University of Warsaw, working as a project fellow at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IFiS PAN). She is affiliated with the Department of Sociology and the Research Team of Sociology of Politics, Economy and Education.

Research Interests

Her work centers on algorithmic welfare systems and human flourishing in Europe, examining how automated infrastructures transform social policy delivery. She integrates sociology of politics, economy, and education to analyze power dynamics in digital welfare governance, with emphasis on equity and societal impact.
