Monica Yoo

Monica Yoo, PhD, is an Associate Professor with Tenure and Interim Associate Dean for Academic and Faculty Affairs in the Department of Teaching and Learning at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS). She holds a Ph.D. in Education from the University of California, Berkeley. Her research focuses on secondary students' reading comprehension, academic literacy development, and the interplay between reading and writing, informed by her experience as a high school English teacher serving ethnically and linguistically diverse students.
