Monica Warde, D.N.P., RN, serves as an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at Mount St. Joseph University, teaching pathophysiology, pharmacology, and complex conditions management courses.
Her academic credentials include:
- Doctor of Nursing Practice (D.N.P.) from Mount St. Joseph University
- Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) in Nursing Education from Northern Kentucky University
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) from Mount St. Joseph University
- Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N.) from Greenfield Community College
Dr. Warde's research focuses on evidence-based nursing education methodologies and clinical applications in pathophysiology and pharmacology, informed by her six years of service as a U.S. Air Force veteran. Her teaching philosophy integrates military healthcare experience with contemporary nursing practice standards to prepare students for complex clinical scenarios.
Prior to her full-time appointment, she served five years as adjunct clinical faculty teaching medical-surgical nursing. A proud Mount St. Joseph University alumna, she actively mentors students while maintaining clinical expertise through ongoing professional development activities.
