Monica Panigassi Vicentini

Monica Panigassi Vicentini is a Visiting Professor of Portuguese in the Department of Hispanic Languages & Literature at Stony Brook University, part of the College of Arts & Sciences. She holds a Licentiate in Letras, a Master’s, and a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from the State University of Campinas (Brazil). Her research focuses on language assessment, integrated writing tasks, and Portuguese language education for non-native speakers. She has taught in Brazil, Cuba, and the U.S., including as a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant at Dickinson College.
