Mong-Han Huang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Geology at the University of Maryland, College Park. He leads the Active Tectonics Laboratory, focusing on geodesy and seismology to study crustal deformation, earthquakes, and volcanic activities. His research integrates advanced techniques like InSAR and GPS to monitor Earth's surface dynamics, with applications to natural hazards and landscape evolution.
Education: Ph.D. in Geology from the University of California, Berkeley (2014).
