Mondada Lorenza

Lorenza Mondada is a Professor of Linguistics at the University of Basel, affiliated with the Department of Linguistics and Literature under the Faculty of Humanities. She is actively involved in organizing academic events and workshops, including the 2024 workshop on 'Workplace interactions, expert practices and genetics'.

• Research Focus: Her work spans linguistics, French literature, and interdisciplinary studies, with emphasis on interactional linguistics, multilingualism (particularly in African contexts), and computational stylistics. She also contributes to projects involving data-sharing in corpus-based research.
