Moiz Usmani

Dr. Moiz Usmani is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), part of the School of Engineering. He specializes in environmental health, epidemiology, and the impacts of climate change on public health. His research focuses on understanding how environmental factors influence the spread of infectious diseases, particularly through interdisciplinary approaches combining remote sensing, predictive modeling, and environmental monitoring.

Dr. Usmani holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering Sciences from the University of Florida, an M. Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, and a B.
