Mohsin Hayat

Mohsin Hayat is a Researcher at the Institute for Industrial Information Technology (inIT) within the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences since August 2024. He specializes in intelligent systems development for autonomous driving and computer vision applications.

His expertise includes:

• AI-supported object recognition and identification
• Machine learning algorithms
• Embedded systems integration

Prior to this role, he worked as a data scientist at the same institution. His research focuses on combining artificial intelligence with industrial information technology to advance autonomous systems.

Current research initiatives include the development of next-generation intelligent systems for mobility applications, with a particular emphasis on cybersecurity aspects in automation technology.
