Mohit Chawla

Mohit Chawla, MD, FCCP, is a Clinical Professor and Chief of the Pulmonary Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). He specializes in interventional pulmonology, focusing on advanced bronchoscopic techniques such as Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS), electromagnetic navigational bronchoscopy, and laser bronchoscopy. His expertise includes managing diseases like pulmonary alveolar proteinosis (PAP), tracheal/bronchial cancers, and airway stenosis. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Interventional Pulmonology.

Dr. Chawla’s research emphasizes optimizing bronchoscopic diagnostics and therapeutic outcomes, including clinical trials on bronchoscopically implanted transponders for radiation treatment optimization. He has co-authored publications on lung cancer and interventional pulmonology techniques.
