Mohinder Singh is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Science, University of Delhi (India). He holds a Ph.D. from the Centre for Political Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi (submitted 2002, defended 2003), with a thesis titled Critique of Modern Time-Consciousness in the Works of Hannah Arendt and Walter Benjamin. His research focuses on modern political thought (Indian and Western), history of ideas, and the conceptual history of Hindi discourse (1870–1919).
