Mohammed Abdallah

Mohammed Abdallah is an Associate Professor in the Engineering Technology Department at SUNY Polytechnic Institute's College of Engineering. He previously served as program coordinator (8 years) and department chair (2 years). A senior IEEE member, he teaches courses in microprocessors, embedded systems, and digital design.

His research centers on hardware systems for nanobiosensors, with interests in embedded systems, VLSI, and computer architecture. He has developed multiple courses including System on Chip Embedded Systems and Computer Architecture.

Dr. Abdallah has been awarded competitive grants: an ASEE-ETD mini grant ($4000, 2013), three SUNY IITG grants ($6000 in 2013, $20,000 in 2014, $20,000 in 2017), and a SUNY PIP grant ($210,000) for a virtual/augmented reality classroom project.
