Mohammad Nabipour

Mohammad Nabipour is a Postdoctoral Fellow and Adjunct Professor in the Department of Geography and Planning at Queen's University. He is affiliated with the Geographies of Aging Project Laboratory (GAPLab) under Dr. Mark W. Rosenberg's leadership. His research focuses on transportation systems, aging communities, built environment impacts, and emerging technologies like autonomous vehicles and blockchain in logistics. He lectures on Geography and Information Science and has over 20 years of professional experience in transportation engineering.

Recent Research Trends: His publications explore interdisciplinary topics including AV user preferences, pedestrian safety in mid-sized cities, blockchain in pandemic logistics, and cost modeling in freight systems. Methodological strengths include discrete choice modeling, AHP prioritization, and microsimulation techniques.

Teaching & Advising: Has advised graduate/undergraduate students since 2015 and lectures on geography/information science. Maintains editorial role at the Journal of Basic & Applied Sciences.
