Mohammad Kojourimanesh is a University Researcher at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). He specializes in thermo-acoustic instability mitigation and noise reduction technologies, focusing on low-carbon combustion systems and hydrogen energy transition. His groundbreaking work on Anechoic Broadband Compact (ABC) mufflers led to four international PCT patents and earned him the NWO Faculty of Impact grant for postdoctoral research.
- BSc, MSc in Mechanical Engineering (Shiraz University)
- PDEng in Energy & Process Technology (University of Twente, 2018)
- PhD in Mechanical Engineering (TU/e, 2022)
His research centers on developing ultra-thin acoustic dampeners (2-10 mm) achieving 99% low-frequency (20-1000 Hz) noise absorption. These innovations address EU environmental noise pollution targets while enabling thermo-acoustically stable hydrogen combustion systems. His work spans combustion instability analysis, inverse acoustics, and fluid-structure interaction, contributing to UN Sustainable Development Goals for climate action and affordable clean energy.
Key awards include IGU's Young Professional recognition (2014) and Best Master's Dissertation in Iran. As an entrepreneur, he actively commercializes noise mutation technology through patent filings and industry collaborations.
- NWO Faculty of Impact Grant
- International Gas Union Young Professional Award
- Best Master's Dissertation in Iran
