Mohammad Khaleq Newaz

Mohammad Khaleq Newaz is an Assistant Professor at Coventry University's School of Economics, Finance and Accounting. He has been actively researching and teaching since 2015, focusing on financial markets, behavioural finance, and sectoral studies. His work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals. He currently oversees collaborative partnerships in the Faculty of Business and Law and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA).

Research interests include stock market volatility, international financial contagion, and the impact of geopolitical events. He has supervised multiple PhD projects on topics like Nigerian economic growth and UK corporate financial performance. Awards include the Exceptional Performance Award (2020) and Faculty Excellence Award (2021).
