Mohammad Faysel, PhD, serves as Chairperson and Associate Professor of Health Informatics in the School of Health Professions at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. Previously, he held an Assistant Professor position where he developed health informatics programs and taught specialized courses.
He earned his PhD in biomedical informatics from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
Dr. Faysel's research critically addresses healthcare disparities through technology-driven solutions.
