Mohammad Ali Kadivar is an Associate Professor of Sociology and International Studies at Boston College. He holds a PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and MA/BA degrees from Tehran University. His research focuses on protest movements' interaction with democratization processes, blending comparative-historical methods with statistical analyses.
