Mohamed Elrawemi

Mohamed Elrawemi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Elmergib University's Faculty of Engineering. Additionally, he serves as Director of the International Cooperation Office (ICO) and as a Legal Entity Appointed Representative (LEAR) for EU projects.

• Education: MSc (2010, with distinction) and PhD (2015) from the University of Huddersfield in Mechanical Engineering.

His research focuses on mechanical engineering, particularly in renewable energy technologies, thin-film characterization, and flexible photovoltaic modules. His work is rooted in applied physics and industrial engineering, with a strong emphasis on cross-institutional collaboration.

He has contributed to over 26 publications (journal and conference) and serves on the editorial board of the Nanoscience and Nanometrology Journal. His professional experience includes collaborating with university leadership and external stakeholders to develop corporate undergraduate programs.
