Mohamad Anas SARMINI

Mohamad Anas SARMINI is an Associate Professor of Hadith at the Department of Fundamental Islamic Sciences, Faculty of Theology, Istanbul 29 Mayis University. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Damascus University's Faculty of Theology in 2004, followed by a Master's degree in Hadith from the same institution in 2010 with his thesis titled "Jamal al-Din al-Qasimī and His Studies in the Field of Hadith." He completed his Doctorate in Hadith at Jinan University in 2015 with his thesis titled "Punishments Legislated Only by the Sunnah of the Prophet." He achieved the rank of Associate Professor in 2021.

Dr. SARMINI's academic interests focus on Hadith studies, particularly the history and methodology of Hadith, fiqh al-hadith, mushkil al-hadith, and usul al-fiqh. His scholarly work demonstrates a deep engagement with both classical Islamic scholarship and contemporary methodological challenges.
