Mladen Bošnjaković

Mladen Bošnjaković is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Slavonski Brod, where he also serves as Head of the Technical Department. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and has been actively contributing to academic and research activities since 2020.

His educational background includes a B.Sc. from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture in Zagreb (1989), followed by an M.Sc. (2005) and Ph.D. (2018), both from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Slavonski Brod.

His research interests focus on renewable energy sources, heat transfer, energy efficiency, and environmental impact of energy systems. He investigates photovoltaic, wind, geothermal, and solar thermal technologies, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, material innovation, and system resilience under extreme conditions.

The analysis of his recent publications reveals a consistent trend in sustainable energy systems, particularly in the environmental impact assessment of renewable technologies, thermal performance optimization, and advancements in photovoltaic materials. His work combines experimental, numerical, and analytical methods to improve energy efficiency and sustainability.

Mladen Bošnjaković teaches courses in CNC machine programming, material management, and renewable energy sources within the production engineering program. He mentors undergraduate students in their final diploma theses and has authored a textbook titled Programming CNC machines (4th edition, 2019). He is involved in institutional research projects ZELGO (2021–2025) and ZETRA (2025–), focusing on energy and environmental innovation.

He leads research within the Technical Department and collaborates with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects related to sustainable energy and manufacturing technologies.
