Mitzi Fehl-Seward, Ph.D., is a seasoned academic and professional with over 30 years of experience in digital learning, technology, and education. She currently holds dual roles as Vice President of Digital Learning at WHRO and a part-time Assistant Professor and Program Director for the Instructional Design and Technology program at Regent University's School of Education. Her educational background includes a Ph.D. in Education from Regent University, an M.Ed. from Virginia Tech, and a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Georgia State University.
Her research and professional focus centers on leveraging technology and AI to enhance educational practices. She is particularly recognized as a key asset in the School of Education for her expertise in integrating advanced technologies into instructional strategies. Dr. Fehl-Seward also serves as a Public Media Diversity Fellow at The Riley Institute at Furman University, reflecting her commitment to equity and innovation in educational media.
