Mitchell Campbell is a Lecturer in Psychology at Carleton College since 2021. His academic work centers on intervention science and intergroup relations, focusing on developing and testing behavioral interventions to reduce discrimination and promote inclusivity using randomized control trials in natural settings.

He also applies his expertise to a diversity, equity, and inclusion consulting firm. Prior to his PhD studies at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, he gained practical experience through odd jobs in the Twin Cities while preparing for graduate school.
His research emphasizes social marketing approaches to pro-diversity interventions and prioritizes measuring real-world behavioral outcomes. Outside academia, he enjoys outdoor activities (cross-country skiing, mountain biking, camping) and baking.
