Mitchel Colebank

Dr. Mitchel Colebank is Assistant Professor in Mathematics at the University of South Carolina with affiliate appointment in Biomedical Engineering. He holds a PhD in Biomathematics from North Carolina State University and completed postdoctoral training at UC Irvine.

His research develops computational models of cardiovascular physiology, focusing on uncertainty quantification, parameter estimation, and scientific machine learning. Current projects include pulmonary hemodynamics modeling, digital twin development, and machine learning for healthcare applications. Colebank received the NIAID R25 Big Data Health Science Fellowship and Best Paper Prize at ICSTA'21.
