Misha Elena Kilmer is the William Walker Professor of Mathematics at Tufts University, with a secondary appointment in the Department of Computer Science. She co-leads the Tufts TRIPODS Institute and serves as Deputy Director of ICERM at Brown University (since 2021). As a Tufts Data Intensive Studies Center (DISC) Faculty Fellow since 2021, she contributes to interdisciplinary research initiatives.

A prominent editor in computational mathematics, she currently leads the Research Spotlights section of SIAM Review and serves as Associate Editor for La Matematica.
