Miserocchi Elisabetta

Miserocchi Elisabetta is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology (MED/30) at the Università Vita e Salute San Raffaele, where she has held her position since 2001. She also serves as a Senior Consultant in Pediatric Ocular Immunopathology at the G. Pini Orthopedic Institute in Milan (since 2008) and a Consultant in Ocular Immunopathology and Ocular Oncology at San Raffaele Hospital (since 2001).

Clinical Expertise: Her research focuses on ocular inflammation, autoimmune disorders, and ocular lymphomas, with over 288 publications spanning topics like herpetic eye disease, toxoplasmosis, and rare conditions such as conjunctival amyloidosis. Recent work includes novel diagnostic techniques like subretinal lavage for lymphoma detection and multimodal imaging for sympathetic ophthalmia.
