Miruna Troncota

Miruna Troncota is a Lecturer and postdoctoral researcher at the Department of International Relations and European Integration of the National School of Political Studies and Administration (SNSPA). Her work focuses on European affairs, media law, and the practical application of freedom of expression at national and supranational levels.

She coordinates the Jean Monnet Module EU*Ro MEDIA, which examines European standards and Romanian implementation for the media roadmap during Romania’s 2019 EU Council Presidency. Her courses explore topics such as the legal basis of freedom of expression, the construction of European news, and the framing of the European Union in national public spheres.

The department aligns with her expertise in international relations and European integration, and her research contributes to understanding the interplay between media practices and European public sphere development.
