Mirjana Čičak

Mirjana Čičak serves as a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Slavonski Brod, University of Slavonski Brod, where she has maintained continuous employment since 1989 across institutional transitions from JJ Strossmayer University of Osijek to the current independent university.

Education:

• Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electronics (1978-1983), University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing

Her expertise centers on industrial engineering systems with emphasis on computer-integrated production, automation, and programming applications in manufacturing environments. She actively shapes engineering education through curriculum development focused on practical computer applications in preparation and production workflows, contributing to national frameworks for mechanical engineering competencies.

Čičak leads significant EU and national research initiatives including entrepreneurship education programs (e4corner@mefsb), mechanical engineering knowledge catalogues (ME4CataLOgue), and digital management tools development. Her project portfolio demonstrates consistent integration of academic research with industrial practice through extensive cooperation projects documented in CROSBI.

As a member of the Croatian Association of Production Engineering, she maintains active engagement with professional communities while advancing teaching methodologies in computer-supported production systems.
