Mirjam Zimmermann Baumgartner

Mirjam Zimmermann Baumgartner is a part-time Associate Lecturer at the Institute of Music Pedagogy within the Lucerne School of Music, part of Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. She holds a Master of Science in Psychology of Childhood Learning and Developmental Disorders from TU Kaiserslautern (2016) and has been active in music pedagogy education since 2009.

Her research focuses on addressing learning disorders and developmental psychological peculiarities in music education, as well as the role of body language in musical instruction. She also serves as an educational consultant and school psychologist at Luzern City Primary Schools since 2016.

Professional background includes primary teacher training (1997), applied psychology specialization in diagnostics and counseling (2004), and continuous engagement in teacher training programs.
