Miriam Tuliao

Miriam Tuliao is an Associate Faculty member in Library and Information Science at the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering, Indiana University Indianapolis. She currently serves as a library marketing manager at Penguin Random House and previously held the role of Assistant Director of Selection at The New York Public Library, with over 20 years of public library experience. Tuliao is an adjunct instructor at Queens College and Rutgers University.

Her research interests focus on collection development, reference services, and readers’ advisory. She is actively involved in professional organizations, including the Asian Pacific American Librarians Association (APALA) and ALA’s Reference & User Services Association (RUSA). Tuliao holds an M.S. in Library and Information Science from Pratt Institute.
