Miriam Nido is a Lecturer at the School of Applied Psychology at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW), where she is affiliated with the Institute Humans in Complex Systems. She serves as Program Director and Lecturer for the Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Human Resources Development, demonstrating her leadership in continuing education.

Dr. Nido's recent publications reveal a strong focus on the science-practice gap in aptitude diagnostics, refugee entrepreneurship through psychological methods, digital transformation in HR due to the pandemic, and career renewal strategies. Her work examines how psychological principles can solve practical organizational problems from personnel selection to supporting career transitions in evolving work environments.
As a professional, Dr. Nido maintains a dual career path, serving since 2015 as Partner at the Institute for Work Research and Organizational Consulting (iafob) in Zurich while contributing to academic teaching and research at FHNW. She is an active member of the SGAOP (Swiss Society for Organizational and Social Psychology) and maintains professional connections through LinkedIn and ResearchGate.
