Miriam Mendes Gandelman is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Physics of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Her research focuses on particle physics, particularly the study of b quarks, CP violation, and physics beyond the Standard Model through the LHCb experiment at CERN.
Education:
- PhD in Physics (Brazilian Center for Research in Physics, CBPF)

• Physics of b quarks and CP violation
• Exploration of phenomena beyond the Standard Model using the LHCb experiment at CERN
