Miriam Jones is a Lecturer at the School of Education & Lifelong Learning, University of East Anglia. She holds a Doctor of Education degree and has extensive experience in primary education leadership, having served as Head Teacher in two schools and BA Education Course Director (2019–2021).

- BA (Honours) in History and English Literature, Lancaster University (1993)
- Masters in Higher Education Practice, University of East Anglia (2021)
- PGCE in Science, Wolverhampton University (1997)
Research Focus: Miriam specializes in Creative Arts, Primary Science, and Special Needs Education with emphasis on autism. Her work includes curriculum development collaborations between England and Japan, and she led Artsmark initiatives in her prior headship role.
Leadership & Recognition: A National Professional Qualification for Headship holder (2006), she coordinated SEND programs and developed international partnerships through the British Council. Her awards include HEA Fellowship and the British Council International Award.
