Miria PIGATO

Miria Pigato is a Visiting Professor at the Department of Economics of Ca' Foscari University of Venice. She holds over 30 years of international experience in macroeconomic policy, climate economics, and development strategies, primarily with the World Bank. Her roles have included Lead Economist and Climate Lead in the World Bank's Macroeconomics, Trade, and Investment Global Practice (2017-2022), and leadership positions in regional economic management across Africa, South Asia, and Eastern Europe.
