Mireille Elchacar

Mireille Elchacar is a Professor at TÉLUQ University, where she focuses on linguistics research and education. She holds a joint Ph.D. in French Studies (Linguistics) from the University of Sherbrooke and the University of Cergy-Pontoise. Her expertise spans lexicology, lexicography, variation in the French language, and educational methodologies.

Her research interests center on the structural and sociolinguistic dimensions of French, including lexical evolution, dictionary compilation, regional language variations, and pedagogical approaches to language instruction. She actively contributes to TÉLUQ's open-access research repository (Rlibre) and maintains academic collaborations.
