Miranda Adamson

Miranda Adamson is a Lecturer at the School of Nursing, University of Arkansas - Fort Smith, where she has held a full-time faculty position since 2022. Previously, she served as adjunct faculty while completing her doctoral studies.

Miranda's professional experiences include roles as a registered nurse in intensive care units (ICU) at Mercy Hospital, an ICU travel nurse in Northwest Arkansas, and clinical work in ear, nose, and throat clinics at Baptist Health. Her transition to academia began during her doctoral studies, where she discovered a passion for nursing education, particularly in Adult Clinical Rotations.

Her research and teaching interests span Critical Care Nursing, Family Practice Nursing, and Clinical Practice, informed by her extensive practical background. She integrates her clinical expertise into curricula focused on healthcare education and medical practice.
