Minna Genbäck is an Associate Professor at the Umeå School of Business, Economics and Statistics (USBE), Department of Statistics, and affiliated with the Centre for Demographic and Aging Research (CEDAR) at Umeå University. She holds the qualification of 'Recognised university teacher.' Her work focuses on statistical methodology for causal inference, missing data, and longitudinal studies in demographic and aging research.
Education: Recognised university teacher qualification. Research interests include causal inference techniques, mediation analysis, and statistical methods addressing non-ignorable missingness in observational studies. She contributes to interdisciplinary projects, such as the 2014–2018 initiative on 'Paths to Healthy and Active Ageing.'
Her publications emphasize methodological advancements in handling unobserved confounding, case-control sampling, and aging-related health outcomes. She is a member of the Stat4Reg research group and has engaged in collaborative projects to improve statistical approaches in demographic research.
