Minming Li is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at City University of Hong Kong, holding a Ph.D. and B.E. from Tsinghua University (2006 and 2002).

His research spans Algorithmic Game Theory, Combinatorial Optimization, Algorithm Design, Scheduling, and Theoretical Computer Science, focusing on theoretical computer science with diverse applications. Key contributions include defending resource allocation on networks and facility location game mechanisms.
Professor Li serves as associate editor for Omega, Journal of Scheduling, and Journal of Combinatorial Optimization. He organized COCOA 2016, FAW 2020, and ISAAC 2020 as PC chair, and chaired the ACM Hong Kong Chapter (2016-2018).
