Minjung Son is an Assistant Professor in Chemistry and Materials Science & Engineering at Boston University. Her research focuses on photophysical mechanisms in molecular and biological systems using ultrafast spectroscopy. She investigates energy/charge flow dynamics and develops novel nanomaterials including exciton-polaritons.

Recent publications demonstrate strong focus on ultrafast spectroscopy of exciton-polariton systems and photosynthetic complexes, with advancing methodological approaches in 2D spectroscopy techniques applied to carbon nanomaterials and biological systems.
