Minju Lee

Professor Minju Lee joined the Department of Mathematical Science at KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) on August 1, 2025. He holds a doctoral degree from Yale University (2021) and previously served as a Member at the School of Mathematics of the Institute for Advanced Study (2021-2022) and a Dickson Instructor at the University of Chicago (2022-2025).

Professor Lee specializes in Homogeneous dynamics, a subfield of dynamical systems with deep connections to number theory and geometry. His research examines group actions on homogeneous spaces, focusing on ergodic properties, equidistribution phenomena, and applications to Diophantine approximation. This work bridges pure mathematics with theoretical computer science through algorithmic interpretations of dynamical systems.
