Ming Hu

Dr. Ming Hu is an Associate Professor at the University of Notre Dame with dual appointments in the School of Architecture and College of Engineering. She serves as Associate Dean for Research, Scholarship, and Creative Work, leading multidisciplinary research on decarbonizing the built environment.

Research Interests

• BUILT4CLIMATE: Measuring urban embodied carbon through BIM, LCA, and BSDM integration
• BUILT2LAST: Sustainable building design and retrofitting for low-income households
• BUILT4HEALTH: Linking housing conditions to health risks via ML-powered models
