Ming-Feng Hsueh

Ming-Feng Hsueh serves as Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and is a member of the Thurston Arthritis Research Center, where he leads the Hsueh Lab as Principal Investigator.

His educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in Laboratory Medicine from National Yang-Ming University.

Dr. Hsueh's research pioneers translational approaches in musculoskeletal and aging biology, specializing in osteoarthritis therapeutics and joint tissue regeneration. His lab employs multi-omics technologies, advanced cell culture systems, and cartilage explant models to investigate noncoding RNA mechanisms in joint pathogenesis, aiming to enhance natural repair processes and develop disease-modifying treatments.
