Minae Mure

Minae Mure is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at The University of Kansas. Her research focuses on understanding the roles of lysyl oxidases (LOX) and lysyl oxidase-like 2 (LOXL2) in breast cancer metastasis. She leads the Mure Research Group, which employs interdisciplinary approaches including bioorganic chemistry, biochemistry, and molecular cell biology. Key areas include enzymatic mechanisms of copper-dependent amine oxidases and their roles in tumor progression.
