Min Zhang is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Employment Research within Westminster Business School at the University of Westminster. Prior to this role, she held positions as a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge and Senior Research Officer at the University of Essex. Min Zhang's research focuses on social mobility, socio-economic inequalities, housing, ethnic and educational inequality, and wellbeing. She also investigates spatial effects, health, and policy evaluation using longitudinal and panel analysis. Her methodological expertise includes statistical analysis, data visualization, and programming in Stata, Python, and SQL.
Her recent publications (2022-2025) center on educational and social policy evaluations, with a focus on mentoring and tuition programs in primary and secondary education. She also explores ethnic differences in housing mobility and education pathways for disadvantaged youth. Her work employs quantitative methods and longitudinal data to assess policy impacts.
