Min Seok Jang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in Daejeon, South Korea. His research focuses on plasmonics, graphene-based optical systems, and nanoscale light-matter interactions.
He earned a PhD in Applied Physics in 2013. His work explores tunable optical absorption, extraordinary transmission phenomena, and hybrid polariton modes in graphene heterostructures.
Recent publications highlight advancements in plasmonic waveguide gaps, mid-infrared graphene Salisbury screens, and subwavelength metallic slit arrays. These studies span applications in optoelectronics, nanophotonics, and infrared engineering.
