Min-Hsiung Huang is a Research Fellow and Deputy Director at the Institute of European and American Studies, Academia Sinica. He holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (1996). His work focuses on international education comparisons, educational equity, and student academic performance, particularly in mathematics, leveraging data from PISA, TIMSS, and Taiwanese educational panels.
His research explores topics such as high-stakes testing, shadow education, and family socioeconomic background effects on educational outcomes.
