معرفی
Dr. Min-Chen Wang is a Research Fellow at the Zoological Institute and Museum (Biology Section) of Kiel University, focusing on energy utilization and transport mechanisms in marine organisms lacking circulatory systems, particularly sea urchin larvae. Her work employs molecular, physiological, and multi-omics approaches to uncover evolutionary insights into energy supply dynamics.
- PhD: International Graduate Program on Biodiversity, College of Science, Taiwan
- Postdoc: Marine Station of Academia Sinica, Taiwan (2021-2023)
- KiTE Fellowship recipient (2024) for continued research in Dr. Meike Stumpp's group
Her research bridges ecological physiology and evolutionary biology, aiming to decode how energy allocation mechanisms evolved from organisms without circulatory systems to those with such systems.
Scientific awards include the KiTE Fellowship. She utilizes interdisciplinary methods to organize complex datasets, revealing physiological narratives about energy dynamics in marine life.
